Chiayi County Council has taken the initiative to encourage businesses to participate in the ‘Humanity and Love, Hearts and Hands United’ winter warmth campaign.

Since 2014, Chiayi County Council has extended a helping hand to households on the brink of poverty and vulnerable groups each year-end. This winter's ‘Humanity and Love, Hearts and Hands United’ initiative provides 200 such households with NT$3,000 worth of goods vouchers each, alongside NT$500 vouchers for residents of registered institutions for persons with disabilities, aiming to set an example. Green Rock Energy, adhering to the principle of giving back to society, also donated nutritional supplements and daily necessities, hoping to assist those in need through tangible contributions.

Beyond extending a helping hand to the disadvantaged, Green Rock Energy also considers it its duty to give back to the community and preserve precious cultural heritage. Xiaogang Hu'an Temple in Budai Township, Chiayi County, serves as the local spiritual centre. In 1919, the Xiaogang area suffered from a plague outbreak, which was subsequently quelled through the introduction of the ‘Da Tian Xun Shou’ ritual. Grateful for the divine intervention, local residents performed temple rituals in gratitude. This year marks the first time in two decades that the three-day ritual has been held, featuring the grand Wangchuan Burning Ceremony to solemnly send off the Heavenly Patrol. Green Rock Energy joined forces with Huimeng Energy to contribute NT$200,000 towards the event, collectively praying for national prosperity, public welfare, and favourable weather in the coming year.

Beyond expanding its green energy footprint, Green Rock Energy actively promotes local sustainability and social welfare, sparing no effort in preserving regional cultural heritage. Through the development of aquaculture-photovoltaic integration, existing fish ponds are revitalised. By utilising green energy technology to generate green gold, this approach not only provides stable income growth for landowners but also aims to contribute to preserving traditional local aquaculture culture. Moving forward, alongside continuing to promote renewable energy, the company will actively engage in environmental education and local public welfare initiatives.

GreenRock Energy Expands Internationally, Sets Sights on Emerging Stock Board Listing in 2025

GreenRock Energy is ramping up its international expansion efforts as global corporations increasingly commit to the RE100 initiative and the demand for renewable energy solutions grows. Recognizing the rising importance of domestic green power trading platforms, GreenRock is strategically enhancing its market presence both at home and abroad.

The company is accelerating the grid connection of its proprietary renewable energy projects, including large-scale aquavoltaic (fishery-solar hybrid) facilities. With these developments, GreenRock projects its green power supply capacity will reach between 150MW and 200MW within the next three years. Concurrently, the company is advancing its goal of establishing itself as a leading green electricity trading platform.

These initiatives are part of GreenRock's broader strategy to align with international sustainability standards, strengthen its competitive edge, and prepare for a successful listing on Taiwan’s Emerging Stock Board in 2026.
