Green Rock Energy (7833), a comprehensive renewable energy leader, is partnering with Delta Energy and Chuan Shih Energy to jointly establish “Yishi Energy.” The three parties will integrate their expertise in solar power plant development, engineering, O&M management, and green electricity trading to create an investment platform for solar projects and strengthen their presence in Taiwan’s green electricity market.
Yishi Energy has a total capital of NT$650 million, with Green Rock Energy leading the joint venture and focusing on investing in promising domestic renewable energy projects and government tenders. Through both acquisition and self-development, the company aims to rapidly expand its portfolio of power plant assets. The initial phase targets a capacity of 50MW, with an estimated annual generation of 62 million kWh. Of this, 15MW has already been connected to the grid, providing enterprises with a stable source of renewable energy and supporting their RE100 commitments. Yishi Energy is focused on Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPA), helping large electricity users and renewable energy plants establish long-term partnerships, ensuring stable green power supply and flexible pricing. Yishi Energy is committed to becoming a key partner in corporate energy transformation, driving Taiwan toward a low-carbon, sustainable future.
Green Rock Energy’s General Manager, Lai Ming-Hung, stated:
“With the global push toward net-zero emissions, corporate demand for long-term and stable green power is experiencing explosive growth. By establishing Yishi Energy, we are combining Green Rock’s development expertise and outstanding engineering capabilities, Delta Energy’s strengths in green electricity trading, and Chuan Shih’s private equity investment and capital strategy advantages. Together, we are building a green power investment platform to provide corporate clients with reliable renewable energy, promote green power trading, and help companies achieve sustainable development and net-zero commitments.”
Building on this foundation, Yishi Energy will continue to expand its high-potential power plant assets and long-term green power contracts both domestically and internationally, deepening its CPPA strategy to help enterprises achieve carbon reduction and RE100 goals, and creating a globally competitive sustainable energy supply platform.
General Manager Lai Ming-Hung emphasized that Green Rock Energy will continue to uphold its professional expertise in green energy development, expand its green power trading and application services, accelerate resource integration, and drive overall business growth, steadily advancing toward its sustainability goals.
